STANAG 3534 is the NATO agreement on airfield lighting, marking and tone down systems for non-permanent/deployed operations. Edition 7 was promulgated in June 2013, sponsored by NATO's AVC, ATM-CNS AG, AES WG. NATO has not released STANAG 3534 publicly, so this page describes it from a public source about the standard rather than the standard's own text: the entry for its Czech implementation in the Czech defence standards index.
What the Czech implementation covers
The Czech defence standards index names ČOS 174001, whose title covers systems for lighting, marking and reducing the colour contrast of airfield markings for non-stationary facilities or during deployment, as the Czech implementation of STANAG 3534 edition 7. The index describes ČOS 174001 as setting out general tactical-technical requirements for mobile lighting equipment used to support the flight operations of military aircraft at temporarily occupied operational airfields and landing strips. The index entry also notes that ČOS 174001 itself sits in the controlled-distribution system and is available only on request through the Czech Defence Standardisation Register.
