What it is
STANAG 4369 is the NATO Standardization Agreement on design requirements for inductive setting of large calibre projectile fuzes. Edition 3 was promulgated in December 2025 under NATO's CNAD, AC/326 CASG, SG/A, IST, and covers AOP-4369 edition B and AOP-22 edition C. NATO has not released STANAG 4369 publicly, so this page describes it from the Czech defence standard that implements it.
What the Czech implementation covers
The Czech defence standard ČOS 130014, whose title translates as design requirements for initiation systems, implements STANAG 4369 edition 3 together with six other agreements: STANAG 4560, STANAG 4157, STANAG 4368, STANAG 4363, STANAG 4547 and STANAG 4187. Its index entry describes the combined document as setting uniform design and handling-safety requirements for initiation and ignition systems used in newly developed or newly introduced live and practice ammunition, and for evaluating those systems for safety and usability. The index entry describes the Czech standard as a whole and does not say what it requires specifically for inductive fuze setting.
Two public NATO publications also name STANAG 4369 without describing its requirements: AOP-39 lists it among other STANAGs, and STANAG 2916, whose stated interoperability requirement is physical interchangeability and ballistic match within any one family of nose fuzes used with artillery and mortar projectiles of 60mm and larger, lists STANAG 4369 with AOP-4369 and AOP-22 among its other related documents.
