NATO has not released this STANAG publicly. It is NATO UNCLASSIFIED, and organisations that need it obtain it through their national standardization authority.
What it is
STANAG 5525 is the NATO Standardization Agreement covering the Joint C3 Information Exchange Data Model (JC3IEDM). Edition 1 was promulgated on 26 June 2007, sponsored by DPC, DPC, CaP1, DM CaT.

Where it is cited
AEDP-02 (Edition B Version 1) describes STANAG 5525 as addressing "international interoperability of Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS) at all levels from corps to battalion, or lowest appropriate level, in order to support multinational (including NATO), combined and joint operations and the advancement of digitization in the international arena." It states that "STANAG 5525 covers the Multilateral Interoperability Programme (MIP) Joint Consultation Command & Control Information Exchange Data Model (JC3IEDM), which is an information exchange data model that provides a unified information structure and serves as a coherent basis for C2IS development and information exchange mechanisms."
AEP-4845 describes an interoperability network between national dismounted soldier networks operating in a coalition. One of the means it names is a standardised data message format derived directly from the Multilateral Interoperability Programme's JC3IEDM, STANAG 5525.
AJP-6, the Allied Joint Doctrine for Communication and Information Systems, lists STANAG 5525 among its referenced STANAGs, next to STANAG 7149 (NATO Message Catalogue). AJMedP-5 lists STANAG 5525 (Edition 1) among its references, alongside medical data exchange standards such as STANAG 2543 (Standards for Data Interchange Between Health Information Systems).
