NATO has not released this STANAG publicly. It is NATO UNCLASSIFIED, and organisations that need it obtain it through their national standardization authority.
What it is
STANAG 2190 is the NATO Standardization Agreement covering AJP-2, Allied joint doctrine for intelligence, counter-intelligence and security, edition B. Edition 3 of the agreement was promulgated on 24 July 2020, sponsored by MC, MCJSB, JINT. NATO has not released STANAG 2190 publicly, so this page describes it from AEDP-02, a public NATO publication that cites it.
Where it is cited
AEDP-02 lists STANAG 2190 in a list of documents that also includes MC 0582 (NATO Joint ISR Concept) and STANAG 2191 (AJP-2.1, intelligence procedures), and describes what AJP-2 does: "AJP-2 is the capstone document for defining the policies and doctrine for the intelligence, counter-intelligence, and security forces in NATO." In the same list, AEDP-02 describes AJP-2.1 as providing the top level procedures for intelligence operations in NATO.
The medical doctrine AJMedP-6 cites the same edition as STANAG 2190(3) - AJP-2(B), while AJMedP-9 still cites the earlier STANAG 2190 edition 2, covering AJP-2 edition A version 2.
STANAG 2190 is also named, without further description, in the other related documents lists of three more NATO agreements: STANAG 2525 for AJP-6 (integrating communication and information systems into Alliance operations), STANAG 6513 for ATP-3.16.1 (countering insider threats) and STANAG 6514 for AJP-3.20 (cyberspace operations). These entries add nothing about AJP-2's own content beyond its title.
