The Czech defence standards index lists ČOS 156008 as implementing STANAG 3542 edition 8 (ATP-3.2.49.2.2(A)) together with STANAG 2286 edition 3 (ATP-3.2.49.2.3(A)), so the description below covers that combined Czech standard rather than STANAG 3542 alone. According to the index entry, ČOS 156008 sets out technical requirements for the design and properties of the fastening equipment used to secure cargo inside a helicopter's cargo cabin, of the slinging equipment used to carry cargo as an underslung load beneath a helicopter, rated up to 20,000 kg, and of nets rated up to 10,000 kg.
