STANAG 3575 is the NATO Standardization Agreement on aircraft stores ejector racks. Edition 5 was promulgated on 22 April 1996, sponsored by CNAD, AC/224 NAFAG, ACG2, AASG. NATO has not released STANAG 3575 publicly, so this page describes it from the Czech defence standards index entry for the national standard that implements it.
What the Czech implementation covers
The Czech defence standards index lists ČOS 156005, on aircraft locks for the forced ejection of external stores, as implementing STANAG 3575 edition 5. The index describes ČOS 156005 as setting out the connection and design criteria for ejector racks that force-eject aircraft external stores in the 500 kg (1,000 lb) and 1,000 kg (2,000 lb) weight classes. The index also records national provisions of the Czech standard: they apply to the L-159 and JAS-39 Gripen aircraft, and to all combat aircraft types procured for the Czech air force (VzS AČR in the index) after the standard's effective date. The index states that the Czech standard is intended for the customers and suppliers of products and services that ensure the defence of the state, under Czech law (cited in the index as Act No. 309/200 Coll.).
