What it is
STANAG 3899 is the NATO agreement on ground fit and compatibility criteria for aircraft stores, covering the publication AEP-3899 edition A. Edition 3 was promulgated in December 2019, sponsored by CNAD, AC/224 NAFAG, ACG2, AASG. NATO has not released STANAG 3899 publicly, so this page describes it from the Czech defence standard that implements it.
What the Czech implementation covers
The Czech defence standard ČOS 156013 implements STANAG 3899 edition 3 and AEP-3899(A). The Czech standards index describes it as defining the criteria for fitting aircraft stores to aircraft, and the test methods for establishing store compatibility, that are needed for development work in the modernisation of aircraft stores. The index entry gives no further detail: it states no dimensions, loads or test procedures.
