STANAG 2034 mutual logistic assistance procedures

STANAG 2034 sets NATO standard procedures for mutual logistic assistance. NATO publications cite its Annex A format for request, receipt and return or invoice, and its Annex B order form. NATO has not released it publicly.

NATO has not released this STANAG publicly. It is NATO UNCLASSIFIED, and organisations that need it obtain it through their national standardization authority.
What it is
STANAG 2034 is the NATO Standardization Agreement on standard procedures for mutual logistic assistance, sponsored by MC, MCLSB, CSS, ESP. Edition 7 was promulgated on 31 March 2011. NATO has not released STANAG 2034 publicly, so this page describes it from public NATO publications that cite its content.
Where it is cited
Several NATO publications cite STANAG 2034 for specific parts of it, not only its title. AFinP-1, in its section on records, says the providing party keeps billing and supporting documents, and that the supporting documents "should include all information as outlined in NATO standard format for request, receipt and return or invoice" according to Annex A of STANAG 2034.
AJP-4.3, the publication that standardises arrangements for host-nation support, cites STANAG 2034 twice on reimbursement. It says that Annex A "provides the basis for reimbursement when no other formal arrangements are in place". In its guidance for developing a host-nation support technical arrangement, it lists STANAG 2034 among the financial provisions such an arrangement may include, and says its procedures "will generally apply unless otherwise agreed".
AMedP-9.2, Guidelines for a Multinational Medical Unit, sets out how a participant requests logistic support, supplies or services: the requesting participant uses "the standard NATO order form (Annex B to STANAG 2034)" and submits it to the MMU's CO for forwarding to the supplying participant. If the services or items cannot be provided, the supplying participant returns the order form with an explanation. AJMedP-1 also refers readers to STANAG 2034, alongside AJP-4.9, for more information on multinational medical units.
