NATO has not released this STANAG publicly. It is NATO UNCLASSIFIED, and organisations that need it obtain it through their national standardization authority.
STANAG 3294 is the NATO agreement on aircraft fuel caps and fuel cap access covers. Edition 5 was promulgated on 13 February 2024, sponsored by MC, MCASB, ASSE. NATO has not released STANAG 3294 publicly, so this page describes it from the Czech defence standards index.
The Czech defence standards index lists ČOS 156004 as implementing two NATO agreements together: STANAG 3105 edition 7 (AASSEP-2(A)) and STANAG 3294 edition 5. The Czech standard's title covers aircraft connections for pressure refuelling and defuelling, and aircraft fuel tank caps and their covers. The index describes ČOS 156004 as setting out basic requirements, including dimensions, for those connections and for the fuel tank caps and covers. The index does not say which of these requirements come from which STANAG, and no public source available to this page describes what STANAG 3294 itself requires.
