STANAG 7185
Defence system integrators and naval and air staff who plan or equip for NATO air-maritime coordination in joint maritime operations.
STANAG 7185 is NATO's agreement on air-maritime coordination procedures (AMCP), ATP-3.3.3.1. NATO has not released it publicly; this page describes it from a public NATO publication, ATP-3.3.4.2, that cites it.
NATO has not released this STANAG publicly. It is NATO UNCLASSIFIED, and organisations that need it obtain it through their national standardization authority.
STANAG 7185 is NATO's agreement on air-maritime coordination procedures (AMCP). Edition 2 was promulgated on 15 December 2020, sponsored by MC, MCASB, AO, and covers ATP-3.3.3.1, edition B. NATO has not released STANAG 7185 publicly, so this page describes it from public NATO publications that cite it.
ATP-3.3.4.2, a public NATO publication on AAR, points readers to STANAG 7185, ATP-3.3.3.1 AMCP, for additional information on the detailed employment of AAR. It also records that STANAG 7185 replaces ATP-34, Tactical Air Support of Maritime Operations (TASMO).
STANAG 3805 lists STANAG 7185, ATP-3.3.3.1, among its other related documents, alongside STANAG 3703, Allied Joint Doctrine for Air-Maritime Coordination, AJP-3.3.3.
Beyond these citations and the publication it replaces, no public source available to this page describes what STANAG 7185's own procedures require.
